The crochet and knitting duo have created a spring-themed post box topper consisting of sheep, daffodils and other springtime nature on a Portland Road post box ‘to brighten up the street.’
The secret artists said: “It's more fun to be anonymous and it's exciting when we reveal a new creation.
“We didn't do it for publicity or recognition, and we definitely don't want any fuss - We did it to brighten up people’s lives and make the environment a bit more fun.”
The creation was shared to a Facebook community group where it was met with plenty of love.
One of the yarn bombers has been knitting for over 60 years after discovering her passion when she was five, when her aunt taught her.
The creative duo added: “The reactions we've had have been amazing and very positive, cars stop to take photos, parents take photos of their children in front of the box and there are lots of mentions on Facebook.” yarn at target
