Weather forces Astros, Twins to reschedule game later this week

The Houston Astros have two games left in their season-opening homestand, but their first road swing of the year will be put on pause for one additional day.

According to a hazardous weather outlook from the National Weather Service, "a major storm system is likely to impact the Upper Midwest through Wednesday night, bringing mainly snow showers with continued strong winds." Possible snow is in the forecast throughout the day on Wednesday, with a 40 percent chance of precipitation and temperatures dropping to around 30 degrees by the evening.
