Ohio State Football: Former Michigan WR sounds off on Ohio State

The Ohio State football team’s Spring is in full swing with practices and hosting numerous national recruits. They even had their first big verbal commitment of the Spring as running back James Peoples committed on Sunday night. With all that’s happening, it’s a shame that a former Michigan receiver had to just go run his mouth over the weekend.

Braylon Edwards, the former first-round draft pick of the Cleveland Browns, a player who only beat the Buckeyes once in four tries, had some choice words to say on his podcast, Erman and Edwards, via Eleven Warriors:

“Why would I choose that place over Ohio State, where I know I can easily be the next (Dwayne) Haskins or C.J. Stroud or Justin Fields and fall in line? It’s because that program is not as good as the one in Ann Arbor, and I know that. They’re shortening and shortening and shortening… They used to have three DBs in the first round, some linemen, a couple of Bosa brothers or Chase Young. You’re not having that anymore. That program is falling apart and recruits can see it.” Ohio Michigan State Shirt
