Harry Styles has topped music charts, starred in hit movies and was the first man to appear solo on the cover of Vogue magazine – and now he’s set a new record for LEGO Ideas.
The former One Direction member didn’t have a direct hand in this latest career achievement, though – at least to our knowledge – as the builder behind the 58th project in the first LEGO Ideas 2023 review is BrickHills14 (although that could well be Styles’ LEGO pseudonym). For those playing along at home, that’s now a record number of projects in a single review period.
The record previously belonged to the first 2021 review, which saw 57 different LEGO Ideas projects vying to become an official product. The first 2023 review will now see at least 58 potential sets hoping to advance to the next stage of the process, and there’s still a month to go until the qualifying window closes.
BrickHills14’s record-breaking project is inspired by the cover for Styles’ latest album, Harry’s House, which debuted in 2022 to critical and commercial acclaim. The album art depicts the star standing on the ceiling of a sparsely-decorated room, recreated to a tee in the LEGO Ideas build. The 800-piece project also includes a larger yellow house in which to place the room. harrys house hoodie
