Former NFL MVP open to backing up Buffalo Bills’ Josh Allen

Cam Newton still believes that there aren’t 32 quarterbacks better than him in the NFL, but he’s also open to backing up certain quarterbacks in the league.

In a recent podcast appearance, Newton listed 12 quarterbacks that he would be willing to backup in 2023. Among his list was Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen.

Newton did not elaborate on why he was willing to backup Allen as he did for some of the other quarterbacks on the list, but he has said he was a fan of Allen in the past. In addition to being a fan of Allen, Newton would probably also be open to playing in Buffalo to reunite with Ken Dorsey. Dorsey, now Buffalo’s offensive coordinator, was Newton’s QBs coach during his MVP season with the Panthers. josh allen no shirt
