Mr. Charles “Chuck” K. Ramsburg , Jr., 63, of Frederick, passed away Sunday, April 2, 2023, at Frederick Health Hospital. He was born on October 16, 1959, in Olney Maryland and was the son of Charles K. Ramsburg Sr. and Mary Virginia Shaw Ramsburg. Chuck attended Damascus High School. He worked over 20 years at Racal Communications and various jobs including Buckeystown Market until his retirement in 2017.
Chuck is survived by his wife of 40 years, Deana Shifflett Ramsburg of Frederick. He is also survived by his two children, Kenneth Chase Ramsburg and wife Stacy of Brunswick, and Erica Rivera of Frederick; two grandchildren, Camden and Ryleigh Ramsburg. Also surviving are his three sisters Mary Schwartzbeck of Mt. Airy, Ann Edwards and husband John of Charlestown, WV, and Ruth Spring of Brunswick, mother-in-law Dorothy Shifflett of Mt. Airy, sister-in-law Marilyn Shifflett of Damascus, sister-in-law Lorrie Hozhabri and husband Farzan of Mt. Airy, brother-in-law Robert Cooper of Smithsburg, brother-in-law Raymond Stream of Smithsburg, and numerous loving nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father Charles K. Ramsburg Sr., mother Mary Virginia Shaw Ramsburg, sister Charlotte Mayne, sister Wanda Ramsburg, father-in-law Franklin Shifflett Sr., brother-in-laws Ronnie Schwartzbeck, Robert Spring, and Franklin Shifflett Jr., and sister-in-laws Sandy Cooper, and Brenda Stream.
The family will receive friends at the Stauffer Funeral Home, 1100 N. Maple Avenue, Brunswick on Thursday, April 6 from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m., where services will be held on Friday, April 7 at 10 a.m., with Pastor Jack Payne officiating. Interment will be at Park Heights Cemetery, 710 East H Street Brunswick. k on shirt
